Bergamot for stress and fatigue:
According to a small 2015 study on Japanese women, Anxiety was decreased by inhaling bergamot oil mixed with water vapor.
According to a 2013 study, aromatherapy using bergamot (together with other essential oils) can treat depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders by inducing the release of dopamine and serotonin in the brain.
Lemongrass for stress and anxiety:

In a recent experiment, adult male rats who were sleep-deprived were given frankincense essential oil (EO) to see how it affected their sleep patterns. When frankincense essential oil was applied topically in diluted (1:10 with jojoba oil) and undiluted formulations, decreased levels of the stress markers corticosterone and glutathione were found in the sleep-deprived rats.
